Marc Marquez perfectly clinched Aragon MotoGP victory on Sunday ahead of Yamaha duo Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi.
Following the race Rossi admits that Marquez is almost out of reach in regards to the race to be crowned MotoGP champion.
Aragon MotoGP victory resulted the Spaniard moved into a 52 point lead over nearest title rival Rossi.
“It’s not finished until the maths gives you no chance,” Rossi said.
“But at the same time we have to be realistic: it was difficult with 43 points and now it’s even harder with 52.”
“I think that the championship was lost after the first half of the season,” he said.
“Since Austria I have recovered a few points, but I knew that the three zeros from the first half of the season would be very difficult to recover.”
